A black woman who feels undefined and unlimited by titles, but in necessity, she may be called a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, nurse, mentor, advocate, or coach. She is fortunate to be within this world of experience, making the best of it and sharing her inner most in thoughts, self reflection, and observations for empowerment.

What if all of your questions in life could simply be answered by who am I?

What if all of your questions in life could simply be answered by who am I?

Who am I seems to be a question often heard, but seldom given its proper value. Who am I caries the depth of what we as human beings deep within our essence, in good days, bad days, our most tumultuous days of reflection seeks to understand this question in an attempt to free our souls from confusion, pain, and into clarity.

Within my own life, even as a child, who am I has been a prevalent force, revealing its essence and power, right into these very words you read. In our social structure who am I is often answered with what we do for a living, wether we are married, single, our gender, color, culture, etc.

What I may share, and that I have found within this question of who am I, is a depth of which I could have ever imagined. This is a depth which brings one's mind beyond the limitations of our perceived knowing of self, a freedom to feel as alive as a blooming forest, and as peaceful as the bluest of ocean on a non windy day.

The word solace, comes to mind when I now encounter this question, as it now brings peace to my inner mind, my inner being. I cannot offer you this feeling without your own experience, my writing is to simply bring about the introspection of that question to your self, journey with it and see where it takes you and what questions it will as well answer for you.
