We often forget that we are endowed with the powers of the breath, energy, mind, thought, intellect, reason, memory, intuition, will, and sense perceptions. Reawaken within true understanding and definition of our God-given abilities of mind and heart!
In a world where superheroes are glorified, often shown in movies and TV shows, although not well represented to the makeup of humans in gender and race, but, humans who accept this belief and impression may often feel compelled to live super human lives.
However, they don’t understand that it is not about being a superhuman. It’s about realizing that being a human is super. This little shift in perception can make all the difference.
You see, we assign the meaning or agree to the meanings of words, thoughts, and beliefs within our world. But that also means that, in the present moment, you can give new meaning to thoughts that bring you down and block your positive, good feelings of energy. And you can do this by deliberately changing those thoughts into your most desired ones! That’s the power of being a human being.
Understanding The Immense Power of Words
We seldom think of words as they are used by us and within our environment. We seldom think of the impact they have deep within our psyche and how they encourage or discourage us from living our purpose.
The following words are words of action, ones that hold the power to create within our lives.
Belief
I most recently stopped to ponder the word “believe.” And I realized the number of times this word appeared throughout my daily interactions.
Suffice it to say that belief is an immensely powerful word. It is a word that holds to flesh that we have collectively agreed upon. It is a word that defines our very persona, cultures, traditions, religions, spirituality, or the lack thereof, etc.
We only succumb and we are only moved by that which we believe. That which we don’t believe is like the foreign language of which we don’t hold an understanding. Beliefs are wired into our brains and they color our perceptions. For instance, if you believe in your abilities, it doesn’t matter if anyone says anything negative about you, doubts you in any way, or tries to bring you down.
This is why Les Brown once said, “Someone’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.” It is your own beliefs that shape your reality.
Beliefs can be decisive. Beliefs can start wars, or by the belief of peace, bring comfort to hearts and minds. Beliefs may divide based on religion but may bring peace through spirit.
What are the beliefs you hold and how are they manifesting in your life? What are the beliefs in your environment that you agree or disagree with? Be mindful of this word in your day to witness its power.
Intention
Intention is another word that is constantly shaping your future, one moment at a time. It is like the bricks that you use to build your path forward. Without a doubt, it is extremely important to be mindful of your intentions.
Is your intention of substance? Is your intention in alignment? Are your intended purpose, actions, and havings aligned with the highest good of your authentic self and the well-being of everyone involved in this broader context?
Or perhaps this intention is imposed by the constant chatter of the outside world imposing its will on you to be, to do, and to have, but this is rendering you STUCK?
Be mindful of your intended actions and take cues for when you feel stuck. Sometimes, it is as simple as being mindful of your thoughts to see if doubtful thoughts are present, and whether things like guilt, anxiety, and comparisons are plaguing your mental landscape.
At other times, it may be impressions from the outer world’s chatter and your true aspect of self fails to be in alignment with such intentions. You will usually get a sense of not being in alignment with your true values.
Introspectcare works well in this space. The Universe (GOD, Almighty, whatever your belief) will support you when your purpose is in alignment. This usually feels easy and not like you must swim upstream. I don’t want you to confuse this with inaction. After all, you have a material body, so there must be action on this Earth to gain what you want. This is best done diligently and purposefully working on the mind.
Decision
Wise people often say that your life, at any given moment, is the sum total of all the decisions you’ve made in the past. Whether you’re making a small decision or a big one, it doesn’t matter. Everything is constantly weaving together the fabric of your destiny.
As with your intentions, you must be mindful of whether your decisions are in line with your purpose, goals, and values, or whether they are being influenced by the outer world. Which path is it that will take you forward on your intended path? This is the decision you need to be concerned with.
Action
Actions speak louder than words. And they also speak louder than thoughts. You can think a million times about lifting a pen off the desk, but until you actually do it with your hands, the pen will lay there forever. You can dream, decide, or intend as much as you want… but until you move with your feet, things won’t happen. The power of the given instrument of the body. Use it and appreciate it!
This is why actions must go beyond the work of the mind. They need to manifest in the physical world. And that means movement. Move forward, do the right things, and take inspired action in the real world.
Faith
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.” - Martin Luther King, Jr. If you’ve been through any hardship in life, and if you’ve prayed to a higher power, whatever that may be, you are well aware of the power of this word: faith.
In the midst of things, it serves as the light that dispels the darkness. It gives hope and the strength to take one more step forward when all you want to do is give up. It brings forth resilience, patience to endure moments of doubt, and waiting for the expectation of the thing desired.
Expectation
The key principle in the imagination and visualization of the desired outcome is an unwavering feeling and the expectation that, once in alignment with the right intention, thoughts, decisions, actions, faith, behavior, and God’s will, we will arrive at the desired outcome.
In this God’s world that we inhabit, we have been given free will and the ability to perceive. This enables a co-creating condition with the creative principles. As such, we must put forth this work, or else we might arrive at frustration, or worse, stagnation. Get beyond these limitations and propel your life forward. Leave a positive impact on others. This is your year of understanding to fully do so.
