
MENTAL CONDITIONING- Through The Looking Glass

As human beings, we are in constant demand for outer movements. It is amazing when we can find the time to unwind, and perhaps even travel to a beautiful destination.
Today in blog, I'd like to ask you to take a brief inner journey which is just as important as an outer destination, if not more....
It is crucial for us to have some understanding of our mental conditions and how they are formed, as they inevitably become our outer experiences and results. Now, this is not without an acknowledgedment, and understanding of outward limitations. For the purposes of understanding ourselves, I do mainly focus upon our own awareness of self, and what we are able to change, as per our immediate environmental circumstances.
LET'S DIVE INTO: INNER DESTINATION
For most people in the world, their everyday lives revolve around their daily routines, tasks, habits, and so on. It’s almost as if their minds are functioning in auto-pilot mode. They keep doing the same things over and over again, without paying much attention to the tougher truths of this reality. But if they stop for a second and just observe things, they will realize that there is so much more at play.
For instance, do you know what is at the base of your daily thoughts, actions, and beliefs?
Do you know why a particular thought emerged in your mind or why you see something the way you see it?
Who is running the show behind the scenes?
When you explore these avenues, you begin to uncover the more uncomfortable side of life. For one, you realize the obvious thoughts that were imprinted in your mind by not only your internal genetic memory, but also by your environment, interactions with other people, and other influences along your path such as your job, friends, billboards, symbols, media, and so on.
This is when you get a glimpse of the matrix. And this is when you understand why your mind comes to a standstill when you feel at odds with your very own purpose or will. In other words, you become more aware of the mental conditioning that has happened to you without even realizing it.
Awareness Leading To Change
I urge you to notice the various factors that influence your life and that might condition your mind a certain way. After all, they might end up shaping your future in a way that you wouldn’t like at all! And you would certainly not want them to interfere with your life, progress, and purpose.
As I write this, I am reminded of how COVID-19 aided our minds in a very significant way. As human beings, we were forced to assert and assess the needs of our souls, bodies, and minds. We were forced to look through the looking glass.
And as life is forever a movement, you should carry these teachings forward and reflect on how you interact with this world… either with yourself or those around you. The question is whether you are compassionate to the needs of your body, mind, and spiritual beliefs.
Are you fully aware of your interactions with your friends, family, environment, colleagues, and so on?
Do you find true fulfilment in the things you do?
Do you feel elevated towards your very own revolution?
If yes, I commend your good work, positive thoughts, choices, and a bit of nature’s luck! If not, I would say that you need to assess how the external information or beliefs of your mind may perhaps influence the choices you make rendering those results.
Either way, life is to be lived. So live fully and be in gratitude for every experience. Learn from them and grow as a person. It will always ring true that what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. So, embrace knowledge, be resilient, and empower your mind to empower your life beyond conditioning.
