As we close 2023…
May you uplift, and as well be uplifted, by words of goodness and strength.
Remember that…
“A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step.”
It is with sheer gratitude that I share this message with you all. Not every day do you get to pen down these words. So, thank you, to the many who have read and reached out to me about my blogging journey.
To say the least, I have been inspired to continue along this path in forward progress and movement. I am grateful to each one of you, whether you have clicked, read, shared, liked, subscribed, or commented. It means the world to me to have your support.
As a mother, wife, and recent graduate, the road has certainly been long, hard, and exhausting. But by no means have I been deterred. I urge you as well to follow your heart and dreams, wherever they might lead you. Be brave enough to embark upon the journey that you know is right for you, even if there are voices that want to stop you.
As we experience this world, it is for us to make a difference which is crucial for greater awareness and profound perception of the next generation.
In the consciousness of a black woman, I feel the responsibility, given the hardships that we still endure in this world, to engage with my community and make a difference for all. No matter how small, it is critical that we make our impressions, in our own ways. I, therefore, encourage you to do so as well.
Be limitless. Be fearless. Be wise.
We take time for granted. But the fact is that life is fleeting. It is but a ripple on a lake that dissipates without a trace. In my daily profession, I meet people from all creeds, cultures, and traditions. Many of these clients are seniors and they often remind me to embrace the day and to live fully. This message is consistently being driven deep inside my psyche.
Across the cultures, I have come to have greater respect and appreciation, to understand our common struggles, pain, sorrows, hopes, and dreams. What I’ve understood from these experiences is that we share more in common than we are different. And I think, deep within, we all know this. It’s just that the realization of this has been covered up by all sorts of conditioning that the world seems to impose on us. But it’s high time that we shed this conditioning.
After all, time is fleeting. Our tomorrows are not promised. Focus on living your dreams out loud. Understand the power of your thoughts, words, and perceptions. Dare to live with the difference of your perception without inflicting pain upon another. Recognize that there is beauty in our differences, as well as our experiences. It is because of these differences that our civilization has been possible in the first place!
And in the end, the fact remains that we are in debt to the rules and laws of this universe. So, respect the breath of life, respect the body of life, respect the nature of life and its creations, and the ultimate creator will shine upon your heart and mind.
Look for me to keep shining my light in the new year. Be ready to journey with me through another chapter of blogs for 2024.
I cheer you on… be of good thoughts and decisions. Be a force of good in the world. Don’t forget to take action in your day, no matter how small it is, for a meaningful future. Every bit counts.
God’s blessings for a happy holiday and prosperous new year, to you and your family.
Thank you for your time as always. And, share, like, subscribe, and comment!
Blessings,
